When I started to create this newsletter I thought it was a petty task. Then as I got deeper into it I saw the reasoning behind it. In today's world parents are more involved in their child's life and they want to stay informed. A simple newsletter explaining to the parents your expectations and what is going to be taught can clean up a lot of confusion. It also creates a method of communication that the parent can see and eventually because of it the parent will feel more comfortable with you as a teacher. This allows for cleaner communications between teacher and parent.
